Church Women United Friendship Day

Church Women United will celebrate May Friendship Day Friday, May 7, 2010, at St. John Lutheran Church which is located on FM 465 in Marion.  It will begin at 12:00 noon with a covered dish luncheon.  The program theme “Living the Vision” shows how women can work together to transform communities and our world.

The annual collection of “The Least Coin” is an opportunity to Pray for Peace around the world, as we give our least coin to sponsor programs to help women and children who live in conditions of poverty and unrest.
