Youth

The Youth have been involved with many activities lately! We ended October with the fall festival where the youth assisted with games and activities like face painting, an apple eating contest, and mummy wrap. We kicked off November, with some fun and mission work combined at our Lockin on November 11th to end hunger, where we had games and food, as well as a late-night shopping trip to Wal-Mart where the youth personally bought 225 lbs. of food to help replenish the Christian Cupboard. Finally we finished November with getting together for our annual Thanksgiving dinner, as well as working on our Christmas movie which will be premiered on December 11. We are
planning to do several other activities in December with the youth including participation in the Christmas Stroll Parade on December 1 as well as the Living Nativity at the Agriculture Center the third weekend of December. We are also looking forward to attending Mid Winters at Mo-Ranch, starting in late January and early February. The youth have been coming up with many ideas for activities for the following year, and I look forward to working with them to accomplish all the goals as well as fun activities we have planned! We are always looking to welcome more youth into our group so invite any 6th to 12th graders you know to come! We meet on Sundays from 9 to 10 AM and from 12:30 to 2 and Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM.
With Love and Laughter
